Energy Smart Insulated Panel System (eSIPS) is a panelized home division of timber frame designer and manufacturer Davis Timber Frame Company. To expand our offering of high quality designs and homes, we developed a prefab home division to appeal to those that want to build high quality panelized homes that are customizable and energy efficient. Rick and Jeff
Over two decades ago, Jeff Davis and Rick Bascom, frame-wright and custom home builder, realized they shared a common dream: to build the finest custom-designed timber frame homes. Together they formed the Davis Frame Company.
They started their shop in the 1800s timber frame barn at Rick's family farm in Vermont, building homes, additions and commercial buildings for clients throughout New England. As the Davis Frame reputation and demand for their work grew, Jeff and Rick expanded the company by building a new 22,000 square foot manufacturing and design facility in Claremont, New Hampshire. Recently, another manufacturing facility was built to develop and manufacture the company's latest product line: Energy Smart Insulated Panel System (eSIPS). Our eSIPS structural panels is in line with our mission to build high quality energy efficient homes.
For years Davis Frame Company has offered timber frame home clients pre-cut dimensional lumber structures for garages and connecting buildings as part of their timber frame package. This has been a great option for our timber frame home clients who are looking for a cost effective way to build a hybrid timber frame home. Our eSIPS wall and roof panel panels are a panelized structural system that can incorporate timber elements and create a beautiful energy efficient home. Learning, growing and adapting over time has meant incorporating the latest technological advances in design and production, integrating more efficient building system into home designs, and embracing new materials and technologies. As part of their drive to deliver the highest quality possible in all aspects of design, Jeff and Rick continually re-evaluate construction "best-practices" to ensure that they are creating not only beautiful structures, but smarter, healthier and more efficient buildings with our timber frame packages and eSIPS panel home packages.
